3 words to describe my music

  1. FAST: I simply don't have the patience to write slow music. Even my slow music is fast. Maybe I’ll change in 5-10 years
  2. LOUD: people told me if you make your music loud, you get more applause, and I love attention
  3. RHYTHMIC: I don't know why, I might be influenced by all the pop diva songs
  1. Three words to describe my music: fast, loud, and very rhythmic. But since 2024, I’ve also started writing slow and calm pieces.
  2. I’m fascinated by the idea of controlling unpredictability in instruments—for example, making slightly out-of-tune melodies by blowing on mouthpieces, reeds, or even making tunes on slide whistles. To me, it feels folk-song-like, and I love watching performers approach these tiny subtleties with such seriousness. Most of all, it makes people laugh, haha.
  3. My favorite instrument? Yes, it's the bass clarinet. I just love that booming, raw, and punchy sound.
  4. I didn’t realize this until now, but it seems my recent works all involve animals: Cow, Duck, Guinea Pig, Ostrich, Dog. I never planned it as a theme; I guess I just love animals. And my next piece? It’s going to be about Horses.
  5. A dedicated video game nerd with a collection of over 15 consoles, I believe my music has been deeply influenced by gaming, since people often say it sounds like a video game soundtrack. I really want to get a Switch 2, but I just don’t have the time to play anymore… Ah, I miss the old days of gaming all night long. Can’t quite pull that off after hitting 30.
  6. I like all kinds of Asian food—Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Thai, Vietnamese. Honestly, if you offered me Michelin-star Italian or Panda Express, I might choose Panda…
  7. AI has been handling a lot of my work, especially helping me come up with cool titles. I’m even working part-time on training AI myself. But after seeing its progress day by day, I can’t help but wonder if it’ll steal my job someday.
  8. I’ve always believed my drawing skills outweigh my musical talents by a mile. Check out my graphic score piece if you don’t believe me!
  9. Stay tuned for more!
